Hello.The trip to Maldives was fun! but it would take me 1h to type out what happen everyday cuz its so fun! hah. summarised, well,, it's Club Med! Needless to say how GREAT it was.Club Med is just the best place on Earth.
Literally everything u need to enjoy. Okay i'll be a little more specific. the highlights of the trip.
We sat a 30 min speedboat wif 18 ppl on board.it was fun. it goes fast and sometimes when theres waves the boat will go up into the air abit then fall back on the water.very fun.same thing when we were going back to the airport. well, the other highlights, the G.O.s, the nice chief de village that every club med will have going around saying hi to we G.M.s =D we see him at the pool and almost every meal outside the restaurant greeting us, along with some other G.O.s
how could we forget the food?although its not as good as other club meds.the meats were kinda hard.and the food wasnt comparable to others -.- oh well, whadaya expect? it's an island.the whole resort is on an island. its that small.the whole maldives is made of islands like that. the airport is on 1 island too!and many many islands together are 1 atoll. and from top to bottom its around 800,000km i think. +/- a few 0s. heh.
we also did sailing.daddy learnt to sail and it was fun.and quite easy but u need to master the skill. especially the wind directions.then me and mummy would sit on the 2 front seats,left and right.occasionally water would splash up on the boat cuz of waves and the direction we going.sometimes its very fast.i and daddy tried windsurfing but the sail was heavy and even after i got it up it would be hard to balance. so we couldnt really windsurf at all.mummy and daddy also tried water aerobics at the pool. so far mummy did that at evey club med! what an effort! hahs.
thursday we went Male shopping.its the capital i think.we just went for a tour around town ON FOOT cause it was really small! its on an island we took speedboat too. its pronounced MahLay btw.and then we look in some souvenir shops.
friday we went fishing. i got 2 unicorn fish.the skippy or skipper what-u-call-them use the hand reel and when the fish eat the bait u jerk the handreel to hook the fish.the hook has 3 hooks acually.so i mus wear gloves and pull it in!they were colourful.but nt very nice to eat those fish.then the 1st rod that was put in the water,which was daddy's he actually got `1 fish but lost it.the 1st bait! haha.btw we used smaller fish meat for bait!then after that daddy caught a baby grouper but we couldnt catch babies.had to let em grow big i suppose.so threw it back.also the skipper caught a small fish on the rod and i reel it in! but also a stupid little fish.but we can keep it!hahs.then the skipper's assistant,or another guy,he caught sa white snapper using a hand reel!! thats really heavy.any way we had half of the snapper sweet-and-sour and the other half salt baked.and the small fish deep fried for dinner that night! and if u were wondering what mummy had been doing, she was sleeping.Hah.
saturday,,,was just aother slack day.actually it was the morning we tried sailing.then we wanted to do it again so lucky they have a slot in the afternoon. so we took it.then sunday we had sailing in the afternoon then the windsurfing.and we kayaked almost everyday. except wednesday i think. but this isnt an exact report of our holiday.just letting u all know what i describe it like.
ANYWAY,the next time, i hope Nopp and Nick can go along to the next Club Med that we go.They really really should try it! it's definitely the best holiday you'll have.
